Doris Henty’s seminal work, Addresses and Other Writings on Christian Science, includes 25 papers (and all previous supplements) presented to Christian Science Associations over the years.
Mrs Henty was a remarkable Christian Science practitioner and healer. Her sister Flora wrote: “She was a great giver. She was so sure of what her real substance was that she never ceased giving. Everyone was precious to her. Nothing was allowed to get in the way of her Science.”
Man, The Divine Fullness is a companion volume of notes presented to Mrs Henty by James A. Neal CSD. Neal’s notes were recorded at Mary Baker Eddy’s last class held in Concord Massachusetts in November 1898.
Mrs Eddy explained in her opening remarks to this historic gathering of seventy of her students: “You have been invited hither to receive from me one or more lessons on Christian Science…This opportunity is designed to impart a fresh impulse to our spiritual attainments, the great need of which I daily discern. I have awaited the right hour, and to be called of God to contribute my part towards this result.”
